Corby East Midlands International Pool held their last Full weekend Gala of the year on 16th & 17th December 2023. The Winter Festival was organised by Northampton Swimming Club.
Thank you to all of the officials, volunteers and facility staff that helped to run the meet. The meet was a huge success with lots of positive feedback from clubs, coaches and swimmers.

Over the weekend we say many swimmers posting solid early season long course performances across a wide range of events. Northampton Swimming Club had their ducks back and spot prizes for all heat winners!
Swimmers had the opportunity to swim heats and finals in 50m, 100m and 200m events and also compete in 400m, 800m and 1500m events.
We had Paralympic Champions, Olympic Medallists, World Record Holders, Commonwealth Champions, European Champions and World Champions all racing!
There were a few National records set over the weekend-
*Medi Harris Loughborough Performance Centre 200m Backstroke Senior Welsh Record
*Scarlett Humphrey Northampton S11 100m Freestyle British record
*Iona Winnifred Tonbridge SB7 100m Breaststroke British Record
Thank you to all the clubs that attended and helped the last Meet of 2023 run smoothly so everyone could enjoy the weekend with high energy levels and a fantastic atmosphere.
